For a soft closing and/or a soft-opening of your door…

WHAT IT DOES?

The purpose of a soft-closer is to slow down the closing of your door. It accompanies the door to its final position silently and keeps it closed.

HOW IT WORKS?

A soft-closer is a mechanical system, installed inside the track of the sliding hardware. Depending on the sliding hardware, the soft-closers are different, but they always provide the same function. They can be installed on a sliding system that is ceiling mounted or wall mounted.

WHY USE IT?

A soft-closer is a very comfortable accessory for the door and the sliding hardware. It gently accompanies the door at the end of its travel, and locks it in position, preventing it from moving backwards.

As it slows down the door when closing it, it avoids shocks that can damage the walls. It also prevents finger pinching if the door is closed too quickly or even slammed.

Simple and easy to install, it is fixed inside the track. It is invisible and very quiet. Moreover, you can install 2 soft-closers for your door, one at closing and one at opening, if the door size allows it.

IN SUMMARY:

In the house, installing a soft-closer with the sliding hardware allows the door closing and/or opening in a way that is simple, calm, silent and safe. Avoiding also damages due to the abrupt closing of doors.
